You are warmly invited to a soulful fusion of sound healing and poetry, featuring a live reading by Allison Mei-Li from her celebrated collection A History of Holding: Poems on Motherhood. Her words tenderly explore the quiet strength, transformation and sacred complexity of holding life - both literally and metaphorically.
As her poetry opens the heart, you will be gently guided into a deeply immersive sound bath designed to soothe the nervous system, soften emotional edges and create space for integration. Crystal bowls, harmonic tones and intentional frequencies will carry you into a state of calm, connection and inner spaciousness.
This is an offering for mothers, those who mother, those who have been mothered and anyone wishing to honor the nurturing essence within.

HELD: Poetry Sound Bath
Join us in celebration of motherhood. Held is an immersive event blending a meditative sound bath by Breanne Swenson with live poetry on the tenderness of motherhood by Allison Mei-Li. Sunday, May 3rd 10 - 11 am 501 Mobil Ave Suite E Camarillo Doors open 10 minutes prior to event and close promptly at 10:00am. Plush Mats, Blankets, Pillows and Eye Masks are provided.
